Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
2016

Become a member of our best win-win-win farming model and pledge your support of:

  • an ecologically sustainable food system
  • a locally based economy
  • the continued growth of our farm and farmers

Sign up for your CSA Share today to receive
23 weeks of fresh vegetables and fruits!

We are looking for members who are dedicated to the success of our mission and who are willing to grow along with us. As with all CSA models, members assume the same risks as the farmer in regards to the unpredictability of weather and growing conditions. However, our farmer promises to do her very best to buffer against any potential loss with a diverse array of crops and the opportunity to share in the benefit of abundance.
The CSA experience is an educational opportunity to explore the joys and challenges of eating both locally and seasonally. We welcome you to connect with the world that nourishes our bodies, minds and souls.
Thank you in advance for your dedication, support and commitment!

CSA SEASON
June 1st - Nov 2nd, 2016

(Dates are subject to change)

SMALL SHARE (Avg of 5 items/week): $395

LARGE SHARE (Avg of 8 items/week): $595

Only 30 shares will be available in total,
so get your membership agreement and deposit in today!

Each week will include a diversity of the freshest items available; with fewer items at the beginning of the season and more during peak production. Generally, the quantity of each item in the share will be the same for both share sizes, for example one quart of tomatoes and one bunch of carrots. However, a large share will receive a greater number of different items: tomatoes, carrots, kale and kohlrabi.

Depending on your diet and cooking habits, a small share will feed 1-2 people, while a large share will feed 2-4 people. During peak production you can expect a diversity of nearly 20 different items available each week and an array of over 80 vegetables and fruits throughout the season!

SPLITTING A SHARE

Not sure if a CSA membership is right for you?
Not sure if you'll be able to consume all the produce?
Not sure if a weekly commitment is feasible?

Consider splitting a share with a friend or neighbor. You decide on the size, you decide how to split it up. Divide the share in half weekly or rotate who receives the share each week. Whichever option works best for you, splitting a share can be a great way to enjoy the benefits of a CSA membership without feeling too overwhelmed with the experience!
